Yukkutz Hunting now offers the experience for Gould’s Turkey Hunting in Northern Mexico. Located 2.5 hour away from Durango City.

For the next season, there will be 4 hunting weeks from late April to Mid-May.
We can hold groups between 4–6 hunters.

Flight arrangements should be scheduled to Durango, MX. Where you will be greeted by Yukkutz staff, then we will drive you to the lodge.

There are direct flights from Dallas to Durango, 2.5 hours is the estimated flight time.

• Gould’s Turkey (4 full Hunting days).

A typical hunting day starts with a wake-up call at 4:30 hunters will be treated with a light breakfast with coffee, juice, fruit, cereal and toast, then they will start the journey on our vehicles to the hunting areas until noon, then return to camp for lunch, around 11 am.

The hunters will return to the hunting areas at about 4:00 pm and hunt until dark, then return to camp for supper at 8:00 pm.

This is a 1 on 1 guided hunt.

You will stay at our Cabins in the middle of the mountains, where you can start hunting just a few steps away from them.

Each cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a dining-living room. We have two cabins for our guests.

All meals and beverages are included, except for alcoholic beverages.

Our lease of 70,000 + acres located in La Michililla Biosphere Reserve of Durango has a healthy population of Gould’s turkey and some beautiful views of the Sierra Madre mountains.

Our experienced guides will have some birds patterned before your arrival, we will discuss the plan with you, so we can do the hunt however you would like to do it, or you can let the guide decide what would be the best way to get the birds in shooting range and seal the deal.
