
Mexican Rio Grande Turkey Hunts
Yukkutz Hunting offers the experience of Rio Grande Turkey hunting in Northern Mexico, located 1 hour from Eagle Pass, TX, in the state of Coahuila, Mexico.
Hunting Season
For the upcoming season, there will be 4 hunting weeks in April for Rio Grande Turkey.
Travel Information
Flight arrangements should be scheduled to San Antonio, TX, where you will be picked up by Yukkutz staff and driven to the lodge.

Species
- Mexican Rio Grande Turkey (3 full hunting days)
Hunt Schedule
Hunters arrive at camp; the turkey hunt begins on Thursday and ends on Sunday (example).
A Typical Hunting Day
- 4:30 AM – Wake-up call and light breakfast (coffee, juice, fruit, cereal, toast)
- 5:00 AM –Morning hunt in vehicles until noon
- 11:00 AM – Return to camp for lunch
- Afternoon hunt from 4:00 PM until dark
- Supper at camp at 8:00 PM
This is a fully guideed hunt
Camp Accommodations
You will stay at the new Yukkutz Lodge, located only 8 miles from Zaragoza Town and less than 10 minutes from the hunting fields.
The lodge features:
- 4 bedrooms
- 2 bathrooms
- Dining and living room
All meals and beverages are included, except alcoholic drinks.

General Information
Our lease has a healthy population of Rio Grande Turkeys, and hunters can:
- Sit and call from one of our pop-up blinds, or
- Set up and call independently, as you would back home
The weather is pleasant, and the ranch is safe and well-maintained.
