Yukkutz Hunting offers an all inclusive hunt for the elusive ocellated turkey. located 1.5 hours from Campeche city in southeastern Mexico. We are the exclusive operator of the famous mennonite UMA – Las Flores.

For 2024 – 2026 seasons, there will be around 12 hunting weeks starting on the first week of february and ending on the first week of april.

Flight arrangements should be scheduled to Merida airport, where you will be greeted by Yukkutz Hunting staff, overnight in Merida and on the next morning drive to camp approximately 3 hrs away from Merida city.

The hunters arrive on monday noon to Yukkutz lodge, settle in, lunch and start hunting monday morning, hunt monday through friday morning, lunch and depart to Merida a typical hunting day starts with a wake – up call at 4:30 hunters will be treated with a light breakfast with coffee, juice, fruit, cereal and toast, then they will start the journey on 4 x 4 vehicles to the hunting areas and hunt until noon, then return to camp for lunch, at 10:30.

The hunters will return to their hunting areas at about 3:30, hunt until dark and return to camp for supper at 8:50 pm.

We provide one guide to each hunter (1×1) and one 4×4 vehicle for two hunters and their guides.

During early season, the weather is very pleasant, temperature varies 55-60 degrees at night and 70-75 during the day. Later in the season, temperature raises up to 90–100 degrees at midday.
